Research Interests
1. Construction, equipment and functioning of greenhouses (covering and construction materials, greenhouse physics, heating, ventilation, cooling, shading, irrigation, fog, CO2 enrichment, climate control systems, mechanical equipment, internal constructions etc).
2. Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to improve the design of agriculture buildings.
3. Hydroponic systems (setup, equipment, design).
4. Energy technologies in agriculture with emphasis in energy savings and in the use of renewable energy sources in agriculture buildings.
5. Facilities for postharvest treatment of agricultural products (storage installations, refrigeration rooms, packaging equipment, drying installations).
6. Distance learning in greenhouse technologies and in energy in agriculture.
